His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the Awujale of Ijebuland, also passed away at 91.
He reigned for 65 years, distinguishing himself as a monarch of foresight and courage who prioritized development and preserved Yoruba culture. His long reign is considered a golden era for Ijebuland.
